Why I Started This Podcast
There is a lot of advice in our culture about relationships. Some of it is helpful; a lot of it is not. I started Love That Lasts because how we pursue our love story matters, and I want to help people learn from others about how to build an enduring and beautiful love that is shaped by Jesus.
Every episode is a real conversation with insightful guests from a variety of backgrounds. Authors who study and write about what makes love last. Pastors who have walked with couples through every season. Athletes and public figures who have navigated love and commitment in the public eye. Everyday people with extraordinary stories.
Together, we unpack practical wisdom, real-life experiences, and research-informed insights, all while grounding our conversations in a life of love as followers of Jesus. We talk about connection, communication, conflict, and commitment - always with the hope of reflecting a love that is faithful, sacrificial, and enduring. The heart of the podcast is simple: to meet people right where they are—whether they’re dating, engaged, married, or longing for deeper, healthier relationships - and help them intentionally build a love that lasts.
What You Will Find Here
Real Guests with Real Stories
Every guest has lived something worth hearing about. The conversations are honest, warm, faith-informed, and go deeper than the highlight reel most people share publicly.
Research Meets Real Life
I bring my clinical and academic background into every episode, which means the conversations are grounded in what actually works, not just what sounds good.
Every Stage, Every Season
Dating. Engaged. Newly married. Long-term partners. Parents. Individuals figuring out what they want. There is no single audience for this podcast because great relationships are relevant to everyone.
